assalaam o alaykum
My question is that the Sufis claim that they have miracles and they are allowed to hear people after their death. Some people say that even Prophet Muhammad (sws) can hear us. So my question is that does Allāh treat Prophet and Sufis at the same level? What Allāh has allowed for Prophet Muhammad (sws) to do, is that allowed for the Sufis or the pious?
I have 2 questions to ask of you.
Allah Almighty says to the Prophet (sws) that he will also leave this world as the previous prophets did. A ḥadīth is very commonly known that Prophet said a Muslim must visit his grave to say asslamaulaikum when he comes for Haj or umrah. If this narrative is authentic, then don't you think it is in contradiction of the verse I have referred to above?
Could you please provide me with the names of at least few books on tasawwuf/tareeqat/tazkiya mysticism that are based on the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. I want to study such works as are very reasonable and logical. Which books are reasonable on this specific topic according to Farahi School?
After a deep study of Tazkia-e-nafs by Amin Ahsan Islahi and Burhan by Javed Aḥmad Ghamidi I am clear about tassawuf. But just want to know the exact nature of the karāmāt because if people get benefit from them then is it not good? What is the difference in the sufi karāmāt and spiritual experiences of yogi meditation?
What is the status of the practice of celebratings urs of the dead sufi saints? Was this practice conventional during the lifetime of the Prophet (sws)? What did the Prophet (sws) use to do when he visted graves? Did the Khulafa-e Rashideen celebrate any urs for the Prophet (sws) after his passing away?
If Sufism is not Islam then what should a Muslim's attitude should be about the great Sufis like Baba Frid Ganj Shakar, Khwaja Moinuddin Ajmeri, Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiar kaaki and others?.
I was listening to one of the scholars in Pakistan. He said that before prophet (sws) died, he went to the tomb / graves of the martyrs of Uhad. He said that this hadith has consensus and is present in reliable ahadith books. The speech was in the context of visiting the graves of Aulia and Martyrs.
