Following Personal Understanding Of Religious Directives

Whenever I ask the ulema any religious questions they start explaining the answers in the light of fiqh books. They seem to be teaching fiqhs not the deen. Is fiqh that important that nowadays it is considered that important. The last line of defence they use is that you have to follow one fiqh. You can’t mix it. I don’t believe that I am going to take everything which is easy in any fiqh. Is that understanding right or not as “Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said keep the deen simple. Is my understanding correct?

Importance Of Taqleed

1. Some scholars say that taqleed is very important because the Holy Qur’an says: “If you don’t know ask the people of knowledge.” Can you cite the reference and its implication?

2. What is the exact definition of sahih hadith? Do only Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari qualify to be called sahih? Are there any other books of hadith which are also called sahih?

What Is Hajj Al-badal?

1. What is hajj al-badal? I just read in USA that for $1500.00 somebody can perform hajj for somebody else. They quote two Ahadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which are claimed to be sound. Is there anything like hajj-e-badal or there is nothing like that?

2. I also have another question relating to sighting the moon. It’s a problem in Indian and Pakistani community. Some say that you have to see it with naked eyes. Some say calculations are right and the others say not. I personally believe in calculations as you know they always are 100% correct which we just witnessed this year. I wanted to ask what is the correct hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and what is in the context it has been said and is it compulsory to sight the moon with naked eyes or because as we use technology in nowadays we can use it in this situation too? Why Muslims have so much problem with moon sighting not with other matters when they use technology even in the religion.
3. Whenever I ask any questions on anything to the ulama they start explaining the answers in the light of fiqah looks like they are teaching fiqas not the deen. Is fiqah that important that nowadays its considers that important? The last line of defence they use is that you should have to follow one fiqah you can't mix it. I don't believe that I am going to take everything which is easy in any fiqah is that understanding right or not? Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said that we need to keep the deen simple. I am not sure whether my understanding is correct or not? Why all these problems arise in Indian and Pakistani communities, what about Arabs? They have kept the deen simple. Is it right or not?

Following Shi’i Fiqh

I wanted to learn the meaning of the expression ‘ul al-‘amr (those vested with authority) in Q 4:59. The verse says:

O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger and ‘ul al-‘amr minkum.
TheShi’is take it as a basis for their concept of imamat? Secondly would you kindly tell me if I can follow fiqh-e Ja‘friyah if it appeals me? What about the small differences for example in method of wudu and placement of hands in the Prayer?

اپني اپني فقہ پر اصرار
